天气预报说今天会下雨,尽管如此,我还是决定出去散步。
Tiānqì yùbào shuō jīntiān huì xià yǔ, jǐnguǎn rúcǐ, wǒ háishì juédìng chūqù sànbù.
The weather forecast says it will rain today, however, I still decided to go out for a walk.
他才七岁,尽管如此,他已经能演奏钢琴了。
Tā cái qī suì, jǐnguǎn rúcǐ, tā yǐjīng néng yǎnzòu gāngqín le.
He is only seven years old, nevertheless, he can already play the piano.
我们明明失去了这场比赛,尽管如此,我们都学到了宝贵的经验。
Wǒmen míng míng shīqù le zhè chǎng bǐsài, jǐnguǎn rúcǐ, wǒmen dōu xuédào le bǎoguì de jīngyàn.
We clearly lost this game, nonetheless, we all learned valuable experience.

The Mandarin Chinese phrase '尽管如此 (jǐnguǎn rúcǐ)' is commonly used in conversation and writing to express contrast, that is, to continue the sentence with information that changes, complicates, or contrasts with what was stated before.
