Short explanation:

Formation:

い-Adjective (remove い) + く + する/なる

Examples:

部屋を明るくします。
Heya wo akaruku shimasu.
I will make the room brighter.
彼の顔は赤くなりました。
Kare no kao wa akakunarimashita.
His face turned red.
この料理を辛くしてください。
Kono ryouri wo karaku shite kudasai.
Please make this dish spicy.
雨が降ると、道が滑りやすくなります。
Ame ga furu to, michi ga suberiyasuku narimasu.
When it rains, the road becomes slippery.

Long explanation:

The い-Adjective く する/なる grammar point is used to indicate a change happening (naru) or intentionally making something change (suru). When using this grammatical structure, the い-adjective is changed to its く form, and then is followed by either する (to make the change) or なる (the change happens).
